Kristin Westberg joined the Round Table Companies team in 2010, with the understanding that writing is a craft meant to be developed, and given the right tools, this craft can become words that entertain, educate, inform, and inspire. Needless to say, Kristin is on board with what RTC strives to do every day.
Kristin has a Bachelors degree in Human and Organizational Development and a Masters degree in Education Administration, both from Vanderbilt University, and a second Masters degree from Clemson University. She has worked in Marketing and Promotions and in Advertising Sales, and has spent the past eight years as a Writing Teacher and Coach in the independent school setting. The classroom experience has allowed her to focus on developing the writing skills of others as a means of inquiry and creative expression. Her integration of technology and social networking into writing workshops has helped her students uncover and discover the process of writing, even in the digital age. Kristin brings this coaching and teaching experience to the Round Table, which allows her to guide and support the efforts of writers through the creative process and beyond.
Kristin loves multi-tasking and project management. She prides herself on being slightly obsessive compulsive, loves organizing and color coding, and is an avid reader, burrito lover, and Vanderbilt football fan. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Joe. They and their two daughters, Kelsey and Kirby Claire, currently reside in Greenville, South Carolina. Oh, and she makes a mean glass of sweet tea.
