Better off “read”
I love to read — books, magazines, blogs, enews, cereal boxes, whatever. But lately, I’ve found that I am so busy writing that I don’t have time to read. There’s something wrong with that imbalance. Reading fuels the writer’s mind. So I am now starting every day with 30 minutes of reading. Whether that’s catching up on the pile-up of blogs and enews in my mailbox, a chapter or two in a book, or articles in a magazine, I am starting my day with the inspiration of others. I will breakfast with the champions of words and get a glass of creative juice each morning.
