Trust-Building and the Book Writing Process

Travis Tooke, author of Jiu-Jitsu and Life knew that trust-building would become a very important portion of RTC's book-writing process. Travis notes that it is always difficult to tell things you’re shy or ashamed of to someone you’ve never met. That is where trust comes in.

Throughout his book writing process, Travis learned how to lean into vulnerability and depend on his book writing coach to draw out the emotional aspects of his story for the benefit of readers. “I never felt like I had to sugar coat anything or hold anything back,” Travis says.

Thanks to exemplary trust-building between RTC and Travis, he was able to honestly express everything he was writing about.
