Yolanda Knight is the kind of person you can have one conversation with and feel as if you’ve known her your entire life. While on the phone, you can hear her smile through her voice as she builds a foundation of comfort, safety, and trust. If she had a superpower, it would be her intuition. Yolanda’s life experience with a chronic illness has sharpened her uncanny ability to connect deeply to people’s hearts and souls.
As director of client relations for Round Table Companies, Yolanda feels honored to have the opportunity to invite clients into our RTC family and take care of them along the way. Her nickname is “Mama Yo” because taking care of others is her sweet spot. She loves hearing clients talk about their vision for and motivation behind their book projects, and she understands how important, unique, and special each client and project truly is.
“I get to hear about our clients’ goals and dreams for their books, and get to go on that dream with them and watch it be brought to life in new ways they might not have even thought were possible,” Yolanda says.
From your very first question to your finished project, Yolanda is with you every step of the way. She nurtures your relationship with your team and checks in with you to make sure you feel valued, safe, and comfortable.
Yolanda joined RTC back in 2014, thanks to a culmination of events and connections. She attended Sebastian River High School in Sebastian, Florida, with RTC President Kristin Westberg and Community Manager Keli McNeill. In fact, Yolanda and Keli have known each other since middle school!
When she’s not serving as a client advocate and supporting the RTC team in every way possible, you can find Yolanda spending quality time with family and friends. She lives with her husband, Matthew, in Florida. They are dedicated pet parents to two Chihuahuas, Buster and Bella, who are spoiled rotten.
Beyond her everlasting compassion for others, Yolanda has a huge passion for something else: the Georgia Bulldogs. Yolanda always liked football, but the Hazlet, New Jersey, native preferred hockey, until she moved to Georgia to live with her aunt. Her family is made up of Georgia Bulldogs fans. She met her husband in Georgia (also a Bulldogs fan) and soon fell in love with college football. On game night, Yolanda shows off her rarely seen feisty side as she gets fired up for her team.
She is also always willing to get fired up for our clients. Yolanda is an advocate, caregiver, and, most importantly, a friend who will do everything possible to support those around her and their dreams. Her compassion is her strength, and her intuition is her gift. She lives each day with a grateful heart.
“I get to take care of all of these beautiful people. It almost doesn’t feel like a job,” Yolanda says.
