Rich Horwath - Graphic Novel Success
Rich was seeking to create a book and system to make strategy exciting and fun, not just for students but for all audiences.
Strategy in business can come across as a dry subject, which did not fit with Rich’s vision of an exciting and engaging project to grab businesses and really make them see the value of smart strategy. Rich wanted to create a unique product to fully connect with his audience.
RTC interviewed Rich extensively and worked with his initial concept of a superhero team. By introducing ideas of tension and scene-building, the team was able to create a storyline and narrative while also suggesting ways to visually incorporate the non-fiction elements Rich wanted to include.
The 176-page graphic novel StrategyMan vs. the Anti-Strategy Squad was recognized as Best Strategy Book of 2018 by Axiom Business Book Awards and received a 5-star review with the San Francisco Book Review. The book was featured in Forbes, CNBC, and other media. Originally released in hardcover, paperback, and digital formats.
